Windmill Hill is a causewayed enclosure site dating to the Neolithic containing a number of later Bronze Age round barrows. Rising up above Avebury, Windmill Hill provides fantastic views across to the henge and Longstones field where another prehistoric enclosure was recently discovered and a megalithic cove is also found.
