Waden Hill panorama

Waden Hill is a very interesting Hill, being right at the heart of the Avebury landscape with Silbury Hill immediately to the south-west, the henge to the north and the West Kennet Avenue to the east. It plays a key role in shielding Silbury Hill from view as one moves along the West Kennet Avenue and yet there is little dating to Neolothic, rather a collection of round barrows, presumably of later date sometime in the Bronze Age.
