Mark Ronson remixes Bob Dylan

Mark Ronson has become the first person ever to (legitimately) remix a Bob Dylan tune; as discussed on Radio4 this morning (!!!), featuring Zane ‘Zipper’ Lowe, Dylan apparently gave his approval for the remix and I guess Ronson is pretty chuffed. Ronson is becoming a bit of a player in the production/remix arena with some classic remixes on his last album, ‘version’ including a version of ‘oh my god’ featuring Lily Allen and a host of other guest artists, keen to feature. A sample of the Dylan tune can be listened to here there’s and chat on the Rolling Stone blog. It’s pretty much ‘the Ronson sound’ and still pretty funky, just not as great as eg ‘Bluegrass Stain’d’ or ‘Diduntdidunt’ or the recent remixes such as ‘oh my god’.
